2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
pinch salt
one third cup oil make up to one cup with mik
add one egg
Mix flour and baking powder – add liquid – make a soft dough
Press flatter cut into shapes using scone cutter
Put your scones close to each other (touching)
Bake in hot oven 180-190C for 15min
480G butter or soft margerine
600g flour sifted
40g (50ml) castor sugar
20ml vinegar
2 XL egg yolks
Combine all ingredients, mix until well blended.
Grease shallow muffin pan
Press dough into two pans
Roll out remaining dough (after you have filled 2 muffin pans (24)
Fill each shell with more or less 10ml mincemeat
Cut out lids and cover mince meat
Egg wash make a small hole in each shell, bake in 200C oven for about 15min dust with icing sugar when cool
1kg selfraising flour
2cups brown sugar
3cups bran flakes
2cups brans
2 large eggs lightly beaten
add, as you prefer, nuts raisins cranberry lynnseed sunflowerseed
coconut pumpkin seed.
500ml amasi
500g margarine
METHOD
Melt margarine
Add 500ml amazi and two eggs
Mix all DRY ingredience together
Add wet ingredients to DRY
Mix well
Press into rusk pan, sprinkle seeds over.
Bake for 30 minuts at 180 , turn your pan bake another 30 minuts.
Let is get completely cold, cut and dry.
INGREDIENTS
1 cup butter
1 cup sugar

1TBS heavy cream
1 ts almond essence
3 cups flour
1 ts baking powder
1 ts ground cardomom
half ts salt

DIRECTIONS
In a bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, cream, and extract. Combined remaining ingredience and add to creamed mixture.
Spoon into 3 greased 4x3x2 loaf pans bake at 180 C 35-40 min. Cool in pan for 10 min
Remove to a cutting board, cut each loaf into 9 slices Dry in oven (like rusks)
1 and half cup flour
112g butter
half cup sugar
1 egg
1 ts baking powder
apricot jam (few tablespoons full) salt,almond essence, flaked almonds for the top
METHOD
Preheat oven 200 C
Beat butter and sugar together, add egg,then essence, then flour with salt and baking powder
The dough will be soft Have ready a shallow 21cm sandwitch tin
Grease your tin and put about half of your mixture in the tin.
use fingers to press in, making a rim all around flatten the bottom
cover with jam, then grate the remaining dough over the jam
making sure all jam is covered
Scatter almonds on top
Bake for 30 min
2 cups self-raising flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup oats
1 cup coconut
2 cups cake mix fruit
2 eggs
1 teaspoon almond essence
250g butter – melted
Heat oven to 180 C
Mix together dry ingredients. Beat eggs and almond essence.
Add butter to egg mixture and add to dry ingredients.Press into baking tray
Bake for 20-25 minutes. Cut into squares while still war.
Cool. Can be frozen and defrosted at toom temperature when required.
1 cup mixed dried fruit (fruit cake mix)
112 g butter
1 egg beaten
1pkt Marie biscuits
1tsp vanilla
125ml (half cup) sugar
Melt butter and sugar, add fruit and boil for 5 minutes.
Add beaten egg, vanilla, broken biscuits.
Put layer of tennis biscuits in a dish, add mixture on top, spread careful

CRUST
100g crushed biscuits (tennis or Marie)
60g margarine
Melt margaine and add biscuits. Mix wel Press into pie plate and refrigerate for 10 min.
FILLING
1 large tin condensed milk
2 egg yolk (large)
125ml lemon juice and 5ml lemon rind
Beat together and pour into base.
TOPPING
Beat 2 egg whites until stiff, add gradually 100 g sugar (untill stiff peaks)

1 carton cottage cheese
3 eggs (beaten)
3 TBS flour
250g cheddar cheese
125g melted butter

Mix all ingredients. Place in greased casserole and bake at 180C for about 25-30 minutes.
If must be light and fluffy, not dried out

1and half tbsp butter

250ml milk
Beat egg and add sugar
Add half milk and melted butter
Stir well, add the flour baking powder and salt
Add remaining milk
Drop spoonfulls of dough on a hot frying pan
turn over when bubbles appear cook on the other side
Serve with butter, jam, cheese or syrup.
