Cream & Bran Rusks

1 Kg Self raising flower
250 g bran
1 tsp salt
2 cups sugar
500 g butter
1 Lt cream

Mix dry ingredients.  Rub in butter.  Add cream.  Push into pan and cut into fingers.  Bake at 180° C for 45 – 60 minutes.  Dry at 100° C for +/- 3 hours.  (Very large mixture – try half!)
